Water Safety Week 2016

Victoria’s aquatic agencies will be celebrating Water Safety Week from 26 November – 4 December, to provide a timely water safety reminder as we head into the summer months.

The Play it Safe by the Water campaign commenced in 1998 and has been running for 18 years.

The campaign works to raise awareness of water safety and drowning prevention of Victorians and has achieved a 43 per cent decrease in the drowning toll, since the commencement of the campaign in 1998.
