Held during National Volunteer Week, the Valuing Volunteers Evening will recognise and celebrate the volunteer contributions of Life Saving Victoria’s members across the 2020/21 season, and their ongoing service to lifesaving.
Why We Say Thank You
Volunteers contribute thousands of hours to lifesaving each year in a wide range of roles. This year more than ever, we have seen how every one of these roles plays a significant part within the lifesaving movement.
Whether you’re on the beach between the red and yellow flags, providing leadership as a member of the committee or running the BBQ every weekend, your contribution is invaluable.
This organisation simply could not exist without your continued commitment and dedication to lifesaving, and we would like to thank each and every one of you.
National Volunteer Week 2021 and the Valuing Volunteers Evening is an opportunity to showcase the vital contributions of our members.
Members have the opportunity to be recognised at both a Club and State level in the following categories:
100+ Hours of Volunteer Service (Patrol and Water Safety)
COVIDSafe Coordinator Recognition
Please see Circular 308.04.21 Recognising our Volunteers – Valuing Volunteers Evening and National Volunteer Week 2021 and the 2021 LSV Members Recognition Manual for further information on these award categories. Please note, nominations for the Club Service Awards have now closed.
