The Open Water Learning Experience (OWLE) is supported by the State Government’s ‘Play It Safe By The Water’ campaign. The program comprises fun and educational activities that provide students with a practical approach to familiarising themselves with their local open water environments. With a major emphasis on water safety, the program teaches and empowers students to use lifesaving skills. The program is conducted in a range of aquatic environments including rivers, lakes, dams, beaches and pools.

In 2014, LSV combined the Open Water Learning Experience program with our existing BEACH PROGRAM. The result; an updated and exciting program designed to educate participants to make safe aquatic related decisions while enjoying their local waterway.
