SportApp is a web-based system for team managers to oversee the aquatic sport carnival entry process, as well as marshalling and results.
Following its introduction during the 2019/20 season and a period of ongoing testing and review amongst relevant users, SportApp has facilitated improvements that have eased the burden on administrators in aquatic sports.
These improvements include consolidating the rostering of officials, water safety and powercraft shifts using a single application, and the intergration of radio frequency identification (RFID) band technology.
SportApp is currently used for all summer and inflatable rescue boat (IRB) events, as well as Surfboat carnival entries and various other events from time to time.
