Member training

Life Saving Club members can achieve a range of nationally recognised awards and competencies delivered through their club’s trainers and assessors.

LSV training partners

LSV Approved Training Partners

An approved training partner agreement is a unique third-party partnership between an independent organisation and LSV, which enables that organisation to deliver accredited training under LSV’s status as a registered training organisation. The partnership combines the organisation’s equipment, facilities and networks, while leveraging the resources, infrastructure, expertise and position of LSV.

LSV are currently looking for candidates to be approved training partners across Metropolitan Melbourne and Regional Victoria and have comprehensive strategies to support you through the registration and on-boarding processes, to enable the timely delivery of industry leading training.

Reputation

LSV is an initiative of the Royal Life Saving Society Australia Victoria Branch (est. 1904) and Surf Life Saving Victoria (est. 1947). LSV is the peak body for water safety in Victoria, a member of Emergency Management Victoria and a Registered Training Organisation.

In addition to meeting the training needs of LSV’s 45,000 volunteer members, the training team also delivers accredited and non-accredited training to around 25,000 candidates each year. LSV is a State Member Organisation of the Royal Life Saving Australia, who are collaboratively the largest provider of aquatic safety training and the third largest provider of first aid training nationally.

Support

LSV's training team offers initial and ongoing support and training and has a proven track record and a structured approach to service delivery which will enable your business to succeed. Accredited trainers operating under an approved training partnership are entitled to free LSV training for the courses they deliver. They are also given access to LSV networking and professional development activities.

LSV will assist in on-boarding trainers, provide access and information on professional development opportunities, keep you up to date with training and industry trends and provide ongoing support in the maintenance of your trainer file.

Flexibility

LSV approved training partners have the ongoing support of LSV, whilst delivering the quantity of training desired to achieve their own business and stakeholder objectives.

LSV can have up to 15 training courses taking place in a single day but will ensure your specific training and support needs are met. Through the commitment and expertise of our dedicated support team, you will be assisted with everything from trainer on-boarding to course processing. You’ll also be provided with practical and compliant solutions for almost any training challenge you may encounter.
