What is the Approved Partner Program?

The Approved Partner Program is LSV's framework for organisations that want to deliver our endorsed training, education programs, professional development and assessment services. It sets clear quality standards and provides the tools, support and approval needed to deliver these services under the LSV name — with a single, flexible agreement covering any or all four streams.

What partners can deliver
Four partnership streams

Partners choose the stream — or streams — that best suit their capability and goals, subject to holding relevant qualifications and meeting prerequisites.

Training stream

Approved Training Partners deliver LSV public and accredited courses that build aquatic, emergency response and operational capability — including:

  • First aid and resuscitation — CPR, basic emergency life support, provide first aid, first aid in an education setting, advanced first aid, advanced resuscitation
  • Aquatic qualifications — pool lifeguard, pool bronze medallion, aquatic technical operator, aquatic inflatable
  • Swim teaching — swimming teacher, teacher of infants and toddlers, teacher of people with a disability, hydrotherapy award

Education stream

Approved Education Partners deliver LSV's Lifesaving Education Programs (LEPs), building water safety knowledge, confidence and practical skills — including:

  • Programs — LEPs at the beach, river or lake; LEPs in the classroom; Bush Nippers
  • Rescue awards — dry rescue, wade rescue, accompanied rescue
  • Lifesaving awards — Bronze Star, Bronze Medallion, Bronze Cross, Award of Merit, Award of Distinction
  • Safety awards — resuscitation, emergency care, Grey Medallion

  • Inductions — Watch Around Water, SwimSafe, Swim and Survive

How the partnership works
1. Registration and onboarding

Partners enter a formal agreement with LSV and complete structured onboarding, covering quality standards, brand use, delivery expectations and safety requirements.

2. Delivery with support

Partners deliver approved programs and services in their communities, backed by LSV resources, guidance and quality assurance frameworks.

3. Continuous improvement

Ongoing training, updated resources and regular engagement keep partners current and aligned with best practice.

Pricing

A single annual partnership fee applies, plus activity-based fees depending on stream:

  • Training — per participant/resource fee
  • Education — per participant fee
  • Assessments — per activity fee
  • Professional development — no additional fee
