The Pool Lifeguard Challenge Is Back!

23 June 2026

Can Glen Eira Leisure defend its crown, or is a new champion ready to rise?

There’s just one month left until the 2026 LSV Pool Lifeguard Challenge. All 24 team spots are now filled, and everyone is getting ready for an exciting day at Melbourne Sports and Aquatic Centre on 16 July.

Each year, this challenge brings pool lifeguards from all over Victoria together for a day of simulated emergency response, teamwork, and skill-building under pressure. It’s more than a competition; it’s a chance for lifeguards to improve their rescue skills, boost their confidence, and learn from others in the industry.

This year, nearly 100 of Victoria’s top pool lifeguards will represent facilities from both metropolitan and regional areas. They’ll be testing their skills in one of the aquatic industry’s most anticipated events.

Now that the full line-up is confirmed, excitement is building for what promises to be a fast-paced, high-energy event.
