Approved Partner Program: What does real impact look like?

Approved Education Partner Feature
For us, it looks like 15,000 people equipped with lifesaving skills. And we are only just getting started.
Since launching our first education partner program in 2021, our partners have played a vital role in delivering LSV’s Lifesaving Education Programs (LEP) to communities across Victoria. Together, we have made meaningful progress in building water safety knowledge where it matters most.
Now, we are proud to take the next step with the launch of our Approved Partner Program (APP); a new model designed to expand our reach and deepen our impact.

A long standing partner
Y Discovery Camps
A long-standing Education Partner helping bring this to life is the Y Discovery Camps, who have delivered our programs at their camps for the past three years.
Camp Manager Dan Kirby knows the value these programs bring.
“A core focus of our camps is helping students develop teamwork, independence, resilience, and a connection to the environment. The LSV programs add another important layer through water safety, rescue awareness, and emergency care education,” he said.
“Providing students with water safety education can have a positive impact not only on the individual participant, but also on their families and wider communities.”
For Dan and his team, the impact is clear.
“One of the most rewarding parts of delivering these programs is seeing students engage with skills that are practical, relevant, and could genuinely help them or someone else in the future.”
With the launch of the Approved Partner Program, and the continued commitment of partners like The Y Discovery Camps, we are building something bigger.
