Why Swimming Lessons Matter – now available in 10 languages

Life Saving Victoria (LSV) is continuing to expand its water safety resources for parents and families with the launch of the free Why Swimming Lessons Matter flyer, translated into 10 languages.

The resource provides facts on the importance of attending swimming lessons, an explanation of the skills that children will develop and information on accommodations available for diverse communities.

The flyer is available in Mandarin, Cantonese, Punjabi, Arabic, Urdu, Persian, Dari, Vietnamese, and Malayalam. By producing these translated resources, LSV is removing barriers in communication and ensuring that multicultural communities can access safety advice in an accessible format.

The updated Why Swimming Lessons Matter flyer is available for free download by schools, swim schools and aquatic centres to better support their local communities.
