Kate has served Life Saving Victoria for more than fifteen years, focusing on education, sport, governance and community wellbeing.
She grew up participating in nippers and became a volunteer lifesaver for over ten years.
Kate worked as a swim teacher while studying to be a secondary school Physical Education and Health teacher, before transitioning into the VET sector in program development.
In her role as General Manager of Strategic Advisory, Kate leads critical functions, including governance, integrity, research and health promotion, and media, marketing, and communications. She has previously held roles at LSV, including Company Secretary and General Manager of Education, Sport, and Club Support.
In her spare time, Kate volunteers with the Red Cross to support communities before, during and after emergencies.
