Prof. Tony Walker ASM

Tony has nearly four decades of experience in ambulance and emergency services, most recently as Chief Executive Officer of Ambulance Victoria, where he led significant transformation to improve the health and wellbeing of their workforce and their response to the community.

Tony is a Registered Paramedic, Fellow of the Australasian College of Paramedicine, adjunct Professor at Monash University and adjunct Professor and Vice Chancellor’s Strategic Fellow at Victoria University. He is a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and non-executive Director of the Prostate Cancer Foundation of Australia, Emergency Services Foundation and TLC for Kids.

Tony has been awarded the Ambulance Service Medal, National Heart Foundation President’s Award and Australian Resuscitation Council Medal for his significant contributions to improving ambulance services, cardiovascular health and resuscitation practice and outcomes.
