Susan Wolff

LSV President and Board Chair
Susan Wolff is Life Saving Victoria’s President, bringing over 25 years of experience in the financial services industry and more than two decades of dedicated service as a lifesaving volunteer.

An accomplished CFO, Governance, and Operations Manager, Susan has expertise in operations, risk management, compliance, financial reporting, venture capital, and governance. Her strong program and project management skills are complemented by a deep passion for lifesaving and community service. Susan’s journey in lifesaving began as a Nipper parent at Altona Life Saving Club, where she later took on leadership roles, including Treasurer and committee member. 

Her commitment extended to Life Saving Victoria’s Board, where she served from 2018 until early this year. Currently, Susan is the Executive Director and Company Secretary of Philanthropy Australia and an independent director of Stawell Gift Event Management, overseeing the historic 120m sprint. She is also a Fellow of the Governance Institute of Australia and CPA Australia. 

Susan succeeds Paul James, who served as LSV President for six years and will now lead Life Saving Victoria into a new chapter of excellence, innovation, and collaboration.
