Why enrol your child in Swim and Survive?

Swim and Survive gives children a structured, age-appropriate pathway to becoming safe, confident swimmers in any aquatic environment — aligned to the National Swimming and Water Safety Framework, regularly reviewed, GST-free, and above all fun.

Infants and Toddlers (6 months–3 years)

Water familiarisation and early aquatic skills through play, with a parent or carer in the water. Children learn safe entries and exits, floating, movement and submersion basics. All abilities welcome — learning moves at each child's pace. Find your nearest location to enrol.

Preschool (3–5 years)

Children participate independently in small, supportive classes, building confidence, floating and recovery skills, early strokes and water safety awareness. A transition level with parent involvement is available for less confident starters. Find your nearest location to enrol.

Primary School (5–12 years)

Scenario-based learning with a strong focus on water safety, survival and lifesaving. Children progress through levels toward the National Benchmarks — swimming for distance, identifying hazards, responding to emergencies and understanding their limits. Find your nearest location to enrol.

Teenagers and beyond

Finished the program? Pathways continue through lifesaving awards like the Bronze Medallion, lifesaving sport, first aid, and training to teach, coach or lifeguard. It's never too late to start — beginners of any age are welcome.
